According to the Information and Communications Infrastructure Plan, Vietnam will popularize smartphones by 2025 and add 4-6 more submarine fiber optic cables by 2030.
Digital infrastructure is one of five types of infrastructure in the 2021-2030 period planning with a vision to 2050, announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications at the end of February, along with Postal infrastructure, IT application, Information security, and IT industry.
