The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the results of evaluation, classification and certification of Hanoi OCOP products in 2024 under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program.
According to the decision, the city classified and granted certificates to 108 4-star OCOP products of 33 entities participating in the Hanoi City-level OCOP Program in 2024, including 10 potential 5-star products.
Thanh Oai district has the largest number of classified and certified products, 15 products; followed by Me Linh district with 14 products; Hoai Duc and Thanh Tri districts, each with 12 products; Gia Lam district with 11 products; Ba Vi district with 8 products; Chuong My district with 7 products;
Bac Tu Liem District and Ung Hoa District, each locality has 6 products; Thach That, Soc Son District and Thanh Xuan District, each locality has 4 products; My Duc and Dong Anh Districts, each locality has 2 products; Dan Phuong, Phuc Tho Districts and Hoang Mai District, each locality has 1 product.
Hanoi City has classified and granted certificates to 108 4-star OCOP products of 33 entities participating in the Hanoi City OCOP Program in 2024, including 10 potential 5-star products.
The results of the above product classification are valid for 36 months from the date of signing and promulgating this decision; products achieving 4 OCOP stars in Hanoi city in 2024 will be rewarded according to current regulations.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to be responsible for announcing, awarding certificates and paying prizes to 4-star OCOP products classified by the City People's Committee in 2024; advising the City People's Committee to submit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to evaluate and classify national OCOP products for 10 products with 5-star potential according to regulations.
The city also assigned relevant departments, branches, localities and units to organize trade promotion activities to support entities in displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products; carry out state management work in the area, organize product inspections according to decentralized authority as prescribed; propose handling of violations of the OCOP Program's regulations and other regulations as prescribed by law and the city.
Entities with 4-star or 5-star potential OCOP products are responsible for completing products to ensure quality according to the regulations of the OCOP Program; maintaining and upgrading OCOP products to participate in the annual star upgrade competition.
