Efforts to speed up progress
The project to dredge and reinforce Cai stream from Tho Ut bridge to Dong Nai river has a total length of about 18,950m (including the main Cai stream branch to Tong Bang bridge with a length of 14,310m and the secondary Cai stream branch to Ba Kien bridge with a length of 4,640m), of which packages 2A and 2B have a total length of 5,858m (ranging from after Tho Ut bridge to before Ben San bridge). Up to now, package 2A has completed about 55% of the contract, package 2B has completed about 50% of the contract.
Mr. Vu Tien Son, Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Project Management, said that the unit is currently facing difficulties and obstacles in site clearance. Specifically, the project still has 3 cases that have not been cleared with a total length of about 100m, of which Vinh Tan ward has 1 case and Tan Hiep ward has 2 cases.
Package 2A and 2B have 248 affected cases (including 247 households and 1 organization) in Vinh Tan, Phu Chanh, Tan Hiep wards (Tan Uyen City). Up to now, Tan Uyen City Land Fund Development Center has compensated and handed over the site to the Provincial Project Management Board of Agriculture and Rural Development for 243/248 cases, reaching more than 90% of the site area.
Coordinate to solve difficulties
Construction and equipment installation package No. 4 - Dredging and reinforcing the main Cai stream from behind Ben San bridge to before Khanh Van bridge has a length of 3,801m; meanwhile, construction and equipment installation package No. 6A - Dredging and reinforcing the main Cai stream from behind Khanh Van bridge to before Tong Bang bridge has a length of 2,002.6m, expected to be completed on June 19, 2026. By the end of March 2025, construction and equipment installation package No. 4 had a total implementation volume of about 8% according to the contract; construction and equipment installation package No. 6A had a total volume of 8.6% of the contract value.
Construction and equipment installation package No. 4 has 175 affected cases (including 174 households and 1 organization) in Tan Hiep, Tan Vinh Hiep, Khanh Binh, Tan Phuoc Khanh wards (Tan Uyen City). Up to now, Tan Uyen City Land Fund Development Center has compensated and handed over the site to the Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Project Management Board for more than 87% of the site of the package. Construction and equipment installation package No. 6A has 98 affected cases (including 95 households and 3 organizations) in Khanh Binh, Thanh Phuoc, Thai Hoa wards (Tan Uyen City). Up to now, Tan Uyen City Land Fund Development Center has compensated and handed over the site to the Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Project Management Board for more than 75% of the site of the package. Mr. Vu Tien Son said that there are currently 38 cases where the site has not been handed over, of which construction and equipment installation package No. 4 has 15 cases, and construction and equipment installation package No. 6A has 23 cases.
"To ensure the progress of the two construction and equipment installation packages No. 4 and 6A, the Provincial Project Management Board for Agriculture and Rural Development has requested the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City to direct the City Land Fund Development Center to speed up the progress of handing over the site. Specifically, for cases that have received compensation, promptly hand over the site so that the unit can organize the construction of the packages; for cases that have approved the payment plan, invite households to receive compensation and hand over the site; for cases that have approved the compensation plan but have not agreed to receive the money, urgently mobilize households to receive the money and hand over the site; for cases that have not approved the plan, it is necessary to quickly complete the approval, apply the price and submit it to the competent authority for appraisal and approval," said Mr. Vu Tien Son.
To ensure the progress of the project of dredging and reinforcing Cai stream from Tho Ut bridge to Dong Nai river, the Project Management Board of the provincial agriculture and rural development sector has requested the People's Committee of Tan Uyen city to direct the city's Land Fund Development Center to promptly resolve the existing problems in the site to complete the construction package as planned. |
