Mr. Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of the LEGO Group, affirmed that the factory in Vietnam will greatly contribute to the flexibility of LEGO's global supply chain.
The Binh Duong factory can meet the same strict quality and safety standards as all LEGO factories around the world. The LEGO bricks produced will be accurate to 1/10th the thickness of a human hair. Thanks to that, the newly produced LEGO bricks still fit the products made over the past 60 years. Along with using renewable energy, the LEGO Vietnam factory is the first factory of the LEGO Group to produce packaging bags entirely from paper to replace plastic bags. The factory in Binh Duong will contribute to realizing the LEGO Group's mission of spreading the "learning through play" method to many children in Vietnam, the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
