The spread of Vietnamese culture in Venezuela comes not only from natural feelings, but also from the Venezuelan people's deep admiration for the Vietnamese people's cause of national liberation and nation building, in which the image of Ho Chi Minh always plays the most important role.

According to the VNA correspondent in Latin America, speaking during a visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela, Professor José Javier Díaz Macadan, Head of the Department of “Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Era” at the Venezuelan Military Polytechnic University (UNEFA), stated that spreading Vietnamese values is both a political task and an order from the heart.

Therefore, the lessons of the subject "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era" always attract a large number of UNEFA students, opening up a space for lively academic exchanges on contents related to history, culture, Vietnamese people, the path of national liberation struggle and the secrets that helped Vietnam rise from the ashes of war to become a powerful nation, playing an increasingly important role in the region as well as in the world.

In particular, according to Professor José Javier Díaz Macadan, the specialized lessons on President Ho Chi Minh not only provide students with historical information about the life, career and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary movement in Vietnam and the world, but also spread the personal qualities of this outstanding celebrity, namely intelligence, humanity, morality and lifestyle.

In order to continue promoting Vietnamese cultural activities in Venezuela, Professor Macadan, who is also a martial arts expert with more than 30 years of experience, said that after a period of studying and researching the unique Vietnamese martial art of Vovinam, he really wanted to bring this martial art to Venezuela for widespread teaching, and thanked the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela for its support in connecting with the Vietnam Vovinam Federation (AVF).

Regarding the teaching of Vovinam in Venezuela, Ambassador Vu Trung My expressed his joy that Vovinam is increasingly popular with international friends.

According to the Ambassador, after Vovinam is officially taught widely by Professor Macadan, Venezuela will be the first country in Latin America to have a Vovinam martial arts school./.
