Accordingly, the EMS Flat Rate Mail Service rate will be adjusted down by 13% - 15% compared to the previous rate. Specifically, postal items (letters) sent within the province will have a flat rate of 8,000 - 8,500 VND, inter-provincial items will have a flat rate of 8,500 - 11,000 VND and will not be divided into Basic and Advanced packages according to customer needs as before. The rate includes surcharges (gasoline, remote areas) and does not include value added tax. This is the best price ever applied by Vietnam Post for the service of sending letters and documents. In addition, Vietnam Post also supports customers to return unsuccessfully delivered postal items at a rate of 50% of the outgoing rate. With a fast delivery time, within 1 to 3 days, the mail has reached the recipient in the safest way. During the delivery process, the recipient will receive a delivery notification via the Zalo application or SMS message (in case the recipient's phone number is not registered with a Zalo account) with the following contents: pre-delivery notification, successful delivery notification and unsuccessful delivery notification.
