Delegate Nguyen Son Ca, Head of the Legal Committee of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, questioned the Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province about key solutions that need to be implemented immediately to develop human resources in Ca Mau's digital transformation.
Mr. Tran Van Trung, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province, answered questions from delegates related to digital transformation human resources and digital citizens.
Responding to questions, Mr. Tran Van Trung, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province, said that according to statistics, there are currently 135 cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in information technology and digital transformation in state agencies. The current difficulty is the lack of quality human resources.
The Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province said that he will advise the province to provide specialized training (on data management, digital skills and application of new technologies), focusing initially on 135 civil servants and public employees specializing in information technology at state agencies.
Along with that, online training and coaching on digital transformation, application of information technology in the mass, especially, developing community digital technology teams in hamlets and villages.
Another solution proposed by Mr. Trung is that the provincial People's Committee's staff department cooperates with districts and schools with strengths in information technology to provide timely human resources for the province.

The Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province said that people need to focus on raising awareness of digital technology through workshops, training conferences, guidance from the Community Digital Technology Team, communication channels, citizen identification, and creating digital identities.
Besides, people need to boldly use and experience digital services, such as: online public services, cashless payments, tablets, and smartphones.
"The department's goal is that by the end of 2025, at least each household must have a digital citizen, which will then spread to the entire household or support the remaining members to carry out digital transformation and transactions on the network environment," said Mr. Trung.
