This is the second time in history that the price of the national gold brand has reached 93 million VND/tael, and is only 100,000 VND/tael away from the old peak set on February 11.

In the world market, gold prices continued to rise last night, Vietnam time. Spot gold in the Asian market is trading around 2,924 USD/ounce, up 13.5 USD/ounce compared to the previous session's close.
The precious metals market got a fresh boost from warming inflation data and lower-than-expected US employment data. The US service sector strengthened further last month, but the price index rose once again, according to the latest data from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
Along with that, after a series of profit-taking sessions last weekend, the precious metals market has begun to attract some speculative buying power at low prices.
Additionally, safe-haven demand amid rising geopolitical tensions and a sharp decline in the US dollar index this week remain bullish fundamentals for the two precious metals.
