According to experts, there are many reasons for the increase in coffee prices. Coffee is a long-term storage product, so farmers should not worry too much about consumption, especially when coffee prices are fluctuating as they are now. Many farmers want to "hold on to their goods" for a longer period of time to take advantage of the increase in coffee prices.

In addition, experts also believe that the lack of abundant coffee supply will also cause coffee speculators to "hold onto goods" and wait for prices to rise in order to make a profit.

According to statistics from the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, last November, export activities in Vietnam decreased somewhat. The reason for this is that the harvest came late, farmers were not in a hurry to bring to the market, so the limited supply is also the reason for the high price of coffee.

Accordingly, in November, businesses exported 50,605 tons of coffee beans, earning 250.4 million USD with an average unit price of 4,947 USD/ton. Compared to the same period last year, coffee export output decreased by 47.4% in volume and 0.5% in value.
