Presenting 100 gifts to Khmer people in Vinh Trach Dong commune

On the occasion of the traditional Chol-chnam-thmay New Year of the Khmer people, on the afternoon of April 8, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Bac Lieu coordinated with Van An Buddhist Monastery to organize gift giving to ethnic minorities who are poor, near-poor, and in difficult circumstances in Vinh Trach Dong commune (Bac Lieu city) - photo.

There were 100 gifts given to the people on this occasion. Each gift was worth 200 thousand VND, including rice, instant noodles, and soy sauce. The gifts were sponsored by Venerable Thich Dat Ma Kha Kien and Van An Buddhist Monastery.

The gifts are not only a material sharing, but also a spiritual encouragement, helping the disadvantaged people have more motivation to improve their lives. Thereby, contributing to the government to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.
