This is the 5th consecutive year that GELEX has been in this ranking, showing that the enterprise has maintained stable and sustainable business performance.
On October 24, 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam Assessment Report Joint Stock Company and VietnamNet Newspaper - Ministry of Information and Communications held an event to honor the Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam and the Top 50 Excellent Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam (Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable).
The PROFIT500 ranking – Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam was officially announced for the first time in 2017 based on the results of independent research and evaluation according to international standards of Vietnam Report. The ranking was created to honor dynamic enterprises, typical enterprises with outstanding business achievements, good profitability and are the pillars of the Vietnamese economy in the new normal period as well as promote the brand of Vietnamese enterprises to the domestic and international business community.
Along with that, the Organizing Committee also honored the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Enterprises.
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, the Top 50 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam were announced by Vietnam Report to recognize and honor the Top 50 Enterprises with the most outstanding profits in Vietnam, while maintaining stable and sustainable business performance in the period 2023-2024.
Over the past time, the general context has still had many fluctuations, GELEX has proactively adapted, been flexible, creative, and implemented many response solutions. By the end of 2023, GELEX's total consolidated assets will be VND 55,076 billion; Consolidated revenue will reach VND 29,998 billion; Consolidated pre-tax profit is estimated at VND 1,398 billion.
In the first 9 months of 2024, GELEX achieved VND 23,617 billion in net revenue and VND 2,270 billion in consolidated pre-tax profit, exceeding the 2024 profit plan.
In addition to the business growth target, GELEX promotes the strategy of developing a partnership ecosystem with leading multinational corporations; developing organizational and management capabilities, taking corporate culture as the foundation, investing appropriately in human resources and R&D activities; implementing extensive digital transformation throughout the Group, along with forming a risk management framework to ensure a stable and sustainable operating system.
Recently, GELEX also entered the "TOP 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam in 2024" announced by Brand Finance and is one of the 10 brands with the largest brand value growth rate in 2024 with a growth rate of up to 55%.
