2 subsidiaries of GELEX are in the Top 50 Most Effective Companies in Vietnam 2024

Based on the measurement of revenue growth, return on equity and return on shares for 3 consecutive years,GELEX Electric Corporation (GELEX Electric) and Viglacera Corporation - JSC were named in the prestigious ranking, announced on December 11 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The ranking of “Top 50 most effective businesses in Vietnam” has been conducted annually since 2011 by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine and Thien Viet Securities Company to objectively evaluate the management capacity of enterprises.
Representative of GELEX Electricity Joint Stock Company received the certificate of Top 50 Most Effective Business Companies in Vietnam in 2024.
This is the first year that GELEX Electric has been listed in this ranking. Currently, GELEX Electric manages 8 subsidiaries, manufacturing and supplying a full range of products in the electricity industry value chain from transmission to distribution and civil use. Among them, there are many national brands with the number 1 market share in Vietnam such as: CADIVI electric cables, THIBIDI transformers, EMIC electrical measuring equipment.
Continuously over the past 3 years, GELEX Electric has achieved remarkable business results in the context of a challenging macroeconomic environment.

In the first 9 months of 2024, this unit has grown with impressive results. Net revenue reached 14,648 billion VND. Pre-tax profit reached 1,350 billion VND, up 70% over the same period and exceeding the annual plan by 16%. In its development strategy, GELEX Electric directs its member units to promote the production of electrical equipment products with high intellectual content, environmentally friendly to serve the smart grid; orients cooperation in research and development of new high-tech products such as: fire prevention products, security equipment, monitoring... In the ranking of Top 50 most effective businesses in Vietnam 2024, there is also the presence of Viglacera Corporation - JSC. According to the award organizers, on average in the 3 years from 2021-2023, Viglacera has recorded impressive numbers: Compound growth rate (SR-CAGR) reached 12.0%, return on equity (ROE) reached 19.0% and return on stock (Stock Return) reached 137.0%. This is thanks to breakthrough business initiatives and strong investment in product and service quality, Viglacera has continuously created outstanding values, meeting the increasing needs of the market. Along with that, Viglacera is also honored to be named in the category "Typical Real Estate 2024" with projects that have created new standards for living space in Vietnam, contributing to improving the quality of life of people, promoting the development of localities.
