REUTERS. The Mexican army has cleared and neutralized more than 2,000 landmines planted by criminal gangs in 17 of 32 states to hinder authorities' efforts to capture criminals.

AP. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of the Abrysvo respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine in pregnant women to prevent infection in unborn babies.

REUTERS. El Salvador's Ministry of Education announced plans to distribute more than 200,000 free tablets to kindergarten students in the new school year to equip them with basic knowledge of digital space and skills in using electronic devices for learning.
