This afternoon (November 11), under the chairmanship of Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to conduct the election of personnel to hold the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term for cadres introduced by the Politburo. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Inspection Committee and the Central Party Office.

The conference was held to implement the document of the Party Central Committee Office announcing the Politburo's opinion on the nomination for the election of the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and the plan of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on implementing the personnel process to fill the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Based on the results of implementing the procedures on personnel work in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee, based on the proposal of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo agreed to introduce comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

At the Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, delegates heard the Report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the list of personnel introduced by the Politburo to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Next, the Conference proceeded to elect the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

With the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Based on the election results, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee will coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office to complete the dossier to submit to the Central Committee for approval according to regulations./
