Thai Hoa 1 village has 448 households, 1,152 people, 84 party members. Cadres, party members, and people in the village are always united, helping each other to develop the economy, sustainably reduce poverty, effectively carry out campaigns and emulation movements, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas". People actively introduce high-value plants and animals into production development, build a 12-hectare commercial rice field, bringing high economic efficiency. 90% of the village's working-age population has stable jobs. In 2024, the average income per capita of the village will reach 76 million VND; the poverty rate will decrease to 0.89%. Every year, 95 - 98% of families achieve the title of "Cultural Family", many families achieve the title of "Typical Cultural Family". For 5 consecutive years, Thai Hoa 1 village has been recognized as a cultural village, a typical cultural village. Officials and people voluntarily contributed funds along with support from superiors to upgrade and repair roads, install electric lighting systems to light up rural roads, build stadiums, build cultural houses, etc. to meet advanced new rural standards. With the active contributions of the people of Thai Hoa 1 village, Dong Hoang commune has been recognized by the province as an advanced new rural commune.
