Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai congratulates Vietnamese Doctors' Day

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Kim Ngoc Thai spoke and congratulated Vietnamese Doctors' Day at Tra Cu District Medical Center.

Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai praised the solidarity of the cadres, civil servants, medical staff and doctors at the two units who overcame difficulties and performed well in the health care work for local people, which was highly appreciated by the people. At the same time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Department of Health to pay attention to the recommendations of the two units, study and propose mechanisms, advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to remove difficulties to help operate more effectively in the coming time, continue to perform well the tasks of management, medical examination and treatment for the people.

On this occasion, comrade Kim Ngoc Thai informed the cadres, civil servants, medical staff and doctors at the two units about the socio-economic situation of the province in 2024 and the first two months of 2025 with many outstanding results, especially economic growth reaching 10.04%, the highest ever, poverty reduction, housing construction, and taking care of people's lives achieved many positive results. The results of building a new rural province have been assessed by the Central Government and are being submitted to the Prime Minister for a decision to recognize Tra Vinh as meeting the standards of a new rural province. That result is thanks to the efforts of the entire political system and the people, including the team participating in the health sector.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, comrade Kim Ngoc Thai wished the staff and doctors of the two units good health, happiness, success, good performance of tasks, achieving 100% or more of the set targets, making positive contributions to the development of the health sector and the socio-economic development of the province.
