Since arriving in Korea on November 23, the Vietnamese team has been practicing according to a highly-advanced training plan created by coach Kim Sang-sik to help Tien Linh and his teammates accumulate the highest physical strength and power for the 2024 AFF Cup.

This was Tien Linh's 20th goal in 2024, and also his 4th goal for the Vietnamese team during this period, after a double against the Philippines and a goal against Thailand at My Dinh.

In the second half, it was the turn of another striker of the Vietnamese team, Pham Tuan Hai, to score, sealing a 2-0 victory for coach Kim Sang-sik and his team in the first friendly match in Korea.

This is also Tuan Hai's 11th goal on all fronts in 2024. In total, the two top strikers expected by the Vietnamese team have together scored 31 goals in the calendar year 2024.
