'Indonesian team must change tactics'

In October 2024, the Indonesian team played 2 matches in the 3rd qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup against Bahrain (October 10, drew 2-2) and China (October 15, lost 1-2). We are seriously talking about Indonesia's goals and I reiterated that after the end of the group stage, the team must at least be in the top 4."

Not only talking about the results, Mr. Erick Thohir also expressed his dissatisfaction when the Indonesian team still could not show coherence in their playing style despite adding many quality players. He said that the team must focus and prepare best for the two matches in November against the Saudi Arabian and Japanese teams.

However, Bola Times assessed that if there are no good results in November, the Indonesian team will change, bringing the strongest squad to the 2024 AFF Cup. In addition, if necessary, PSSI will work with the players' home teams to help coach Shin Tae-yong have a satisfactory squad.
