Located in Chichibu City, Chichibu Hitsujiyama Park is a popular spring destination for viewing Shibazakura flowers.
This is a herbaceous plant that spreads on the ground, with pink, white and purple flowers, small like cherry blossoms. More than 400,000 trees are planted on an area of 17,600 m2, creating a brilliant natural picture. In the blooming season, the park is like a colorful carpet. Together with the majestic mountain ranges, the colors of the shibazakura flowers blend together to create a beautiful natural landscape. In addition, there is also a Shibazakura festival with a bustling atmosphere, many stalls selling local specialties and typical dishes.
