Industrial enterprises get into production mode, actively 'catch the wave' at the end of the year

At the end of the year, many industrial manufacturing enterprises are taking advantage of the golden time, focusing resources on accelerating production, and at the same time preparing for the new year.

According to the company representative, the demand for packaging from partners at the end of the year is quite high, therefore, in order to ensure quality, delivery time, and completion of targets and production plans for 2024, from the beginning of the year, the company has invested in upgrading the system of machinery, equipment, and new technology; improving labor quality, increasing productivity, and planning raw materials; establishing a business structure with a team of local workers and a system of advanced equipment to promptly meet customer needs.

For example, X20 Thanh Hoa Company Limited, specializing in the production of garments and textile equipment, has implemented a series of solutions to optimize productivity and ensure delivery progress. To boost production at the end of the year, the company has reorganized the work process, increased shifts, and mobilized the entire workforce during peak periods. The company has also invested in upgrading production lines with modern automation technology, helping to increase labor productivity and reduce error rates.

With positive signals from the market, X20 LLC plans to continue maintaining a high production pace during the 2025 Lunar New Year and expand its production plan in the new year.

The report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that in the first 11 months of 2024, industrial production continued to recover rapidly and widely (increasing in 60/63 localities), which was the driving force for growth when the Industrial Production Index was estimated to increase by 8.4% over the same period last year (in the same period in 2023, it increased by 0.9%), the highest increase in the period from 2020 to present. In particular, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 9.7% (in the same period in 2023, it increased by 1.0%), contributing 8.5 percentage points to the overall growth; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 10.2%, contributing 0.9 percentage points...

According to economic experts, industrial production enterprises have proactively implemented production and business processes, and many enterprises have achieved quite positive production and business results. These are also positive signals, an important stepping stone for the province to achieve its growth target in 2024 and the following years.

Many solutions to support growth

Economists say that the world economic outlook is brighter now, and demand has returned. Many domestic enterprises have recently taken advantage of the Government's support policies to invest in technology and restructure their businesses. As a result, production is gradually improving, businesses are taking advantage of opportunities, and have more new orders.

In addition to making the most of the driving force from the policies of the Party, the State, and monetary policies, many businesses have been flexible in production and business, launching many new products and services to maintain sustainable operations.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also proposed plans, orientations, tasks and solutions for industrial production development in 2025. Accordingly, it focuses on perfecting the industrial development institution, in which, it focuses on perfecting the state management mechanism for industrial development, limiting overlap, ensuring stability, consistency, and encouraging production development.

Improve the operational efficiency and competitiveness of industrial production enterprises. Continue to promote the implementation of industrial restructuring and restructuring of enterprises, economic groups, and state-owned corporations according to the approved Project. Develop mechanisms and roadmaps for developing the number of industrial production enterprises, with special attention to developing supporting enterprises. Have mechanisms to create conditions for Vietnamese industrial enterprises to have opportunities to exchange and connect with businesses as well as to enhance promotion, attraction, and search for investment partners from abroad.

On the side of the Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade), we will continue to proactively and effectively implement the business support policies approved by the Government to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities of enterprises; promote the operation of new industrial production projects to serve export and domestic consumption, creating more capacity for production development and goods sources for export.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also focuses on perfecting the system of industrial development policies; reviewing and reforming the policy mechanism and industrial development planning; adjusting the industrial structure according to the territory. In particular, strengthening the linkage between localities in industrial development, forming industrial clusters according to the advantages of the localities.

In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also promotes connecting domestic enterprises to participate in the supply chains of large global FDI enterprises investing in Vietnam, as well as facilitating administrative procedures and credit access, etc.
