Provincial delegation offers flowers and incense at historical revolutionary relic clusters and sites

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee (July 29, 1930 - July 29, 2024), on the morning of July 26, the provincial delegation led by comrade Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered flowers and incense at the Ham Ha National Historical Revolutionary Relic Complex, Rung Thong Town, Dong Son District; the Vuong Family Temple Historical Revolutionary Relic Site and the Historical Revolutionary Relic Site of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Office Headquarters during the 1967-1973 period in Thieu Hoa District.

94 years ago, on June 25, 1930, under the leadership of the Northern Regional Party Committee, Ham Ha Party Cell - the first Party Cell in Thanh Hoa was established in Ham Ha village, Kim Khe commune, now Dai Dong quarter, Rung Thong town, Dong Son district. The birth of Ham Ha Party Cell was a brilliant milestone in the revolutionary movement in Dong Son before the August Revolution. At the same time, it was the foundation for the birth of the Dong Son District Party Committee in particular and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in general.

At the Ham Ha National Historical Revolutionary Relic Complex, lighting incense, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh and members of the delegation expressed their emotions and paid tribute to the predecessors and loyal communist soldiers - the leading party members of the Dong Son District Party Committee and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee who had made great contributions and sacrifices to build and develop the Provincial Party Committee, creating important turning points for the Thanh Hoa revolutionary movement later on.

Carrying out the assigned task, in early June 1930, comrade Nguyen Doan Chap returned to operate in the districts of Dong Son, Thieu Hoa, and Tho Xuan. In Thieu Hoa, he contacted comrade Vuong Xuan Cat in Phuc Loc village, Thieu Tien commune to discuss the situation and discuss the plan to establish a Communist Party cell in Thieu Hoa. After a period of urgent propaganda, training, and testing, as a representative of the Bac Ky Regional Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Doan Chap admitted comrades Vuong Xuan Cat, Ngo Ngoc Toan, Hoang Trong Binh, and Le Xuan Mac into the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On July 10, 1930, at the Vuong family temple, Phuc Loc village, Thieu Tien commune, under the direction of comrade Nguyen Doan Chap, the conference to establish the first Communist Party of Vietnam cell in Thieu Hoa district was held. The conference elected comrade Vuong Xuan Cat as the cell secretary. This was one of the first three cells established in Thanh Hoa province, laying the foundation for the birth of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on July 29, 1930.

During the time the Provincial Party Committee was stationed and working in Thieu Vien commune, the local people paid special attention to both material and spiritual matters; heightened vigilance, always ready to fight, and ensured absolute safety for the province's central leadership agency. During this period, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee issued many Resolutions and Directives to lead the people in the province to compete in production and fight against the destructive war of the American imperialists, contributing to defeating the American invaders and unifying the country.

After the Paris Agreement was signed (January 27, 1973), ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee office moved from here to Thanh Hoa town (now Thanh Hoa city). With the profound meaning and value of the revolutionary historical relic site - the working headquarters of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee office in Thieu Vien commune during the evacuation against the US's destructive war in the North, on February 4, 2009, the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to rank this place as a provincial-level revolutionary historical relic.

Continuing the patriotic tradition of the nation and the example of previous generations, over the past 94 years, the Party Committee, government and people in the province have always respected, been grateful for, and remembered the great contributions and sacrifices of revolutionary predecessors. At the same time, we vow to unite and continue writing glorious and heroic pages of the provincial Party Committee, determined to successfully carry out the socio-economic development tasks in 2024; Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025; strive to build and develop Thanh Hoa province to soon become a rich, beautiful, civilized and modern province; a comprehensively developed and exemplary province of the whole country as beloved President Ho Chi Minh always wished.
