On March 7, information from the authorities of Son Tra District (Da Nang City) said that the locality has restricted vehicles from traveling to Son Tra Peninsula so that the convoy carrying billionaire Bill Gates can stop to visit Ban Co Peak (Son Tra District).
According to Thanh Nien news, from 5:00 p.m. yesterday, March 6, the motorcade carrying American billionaire Bill Gates stopped at Ban Co peak (Son Tra peninsula) to enjoy tea and see the whole view of Da Nang from above.

The source added that in the foggy, chilly weather, Mr. Bill Gates wore a T-shirt, trousers, sneakers... with his girlfriend and a tea artist walking to Ban Co peak to enjoy tea in the area next to the fairy chess board at an altitude of about 700m above sea level. At Ban Co peak, billionaire Bill Gates had a panoramic view of Da Nang City at sunset until the city was about to light up.
According to the original schedule, Bill Gates stayed on Ban Co peak until 6:00 p.m. However, the group did not leave Ban Co peak until around 6:20 p.m.
Ban Co Peak is about 7km from the center of Da Nang City. This place is considered the "roof" of Son Tra Peninsula with an altitude of about 700m above sea level.
