(Fatherland) - The Department of Tourism of Da Nang City said that during the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, the total number of visitors and tourists to Da Nang is estimated to reach more than 456,000, an increase of 13.5% compared to the 2024 holiday.
On January 23, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City informed about the implementation of tourism activities in the city during the Lunar New Year 2025 (from January 25 to February 2, 2025, i.e. December 26, Giap Thin year to January 5, At Ty year).
More than 456,000 visitors come to Da Nang during Lunar New Year
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, during the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, the total number of visitors to Da Nang is estimated to reach more than 456,000, an increase of 13.5% compared to the 2024 holiday. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 221,000, an increase of 25% compared to the 2024 holiday, domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 235,000. The general capacity of accommodation establishments is estimated to reach about 50%, of which the 4-5 star and equivalent groups reach 60-65% (an increase of nearly 10% compared to the 2024 holiday).

In the first days of the Lunar New Year 2025, there will be the first flights of Vietnam Airlines (Narita, Japan); Vietjet Air (Incheon, Korea), Air Asia (Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), China Airlines (Taipei, Taiwan - China), Hongkong Express (Hong Kong, China) ... bringing international visitors to Da Nang for sightseeing; there will be 2 cruise ships arriving at Tien Sa port with a total of 800 visitors of American and British nationality to visit famous destinations of Da Nang city such as Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot, Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra, Museum of Cham Sculpture ...
According to information from Da Nang International Airport, it is expected that during the Lunar New Year 2025 (from January 25 to February 2, 2025, from December 26 to January 5), there will be an estimated 1,275 flights to Da Nang (an increase of 58% compared to the 2024 holiday), receiving an average of about 141 flights/day (64 international flights and 77 domestic flights); of which, there are 577 international flights, an increase of 45% compared to the 2024 holiday; 698 domestic flights, an increase of 71% compared to the 2024 holiday.

Da Nang City Department of Tourism said that during the Lunar New Year 2025, the city will organize many attractive activities and events to serve residents and tourists.
