On the evening of November 30, in Hoanh Mo commune, Binh Lieu district, the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Youth Theater to organize an art exchange night to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989 - 2024). The program was attended by Major General Tran Van Bung, Chief of Political Affairs of the Vietnam Border Guard.
In the exciting atmosphere of competition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, in recent times, officers and soldiers of the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station have continued to ignite the traditional spirit of "All people participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and border security", building a strong border area, a steadfast support for the people, determined to win for the peace of the Fatherland's border.
With the slogan "The station is home, the border is the homeland, the people of all ethnic groups are blood brothers" and the motto "Sticking to the unit, sticking to the area, sticking to the guidelines and policies", implementing "Eating together, living together, working together, speaking the ethnic language together", the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station is a typical example of successfully completing the peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The cultural exchange program contributes to enhancing the connection between officers and soldiers of Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station in particular and Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard in general with the local people. Thereby, enhancing the responsibility and obligation in building the national defense; strengthening the close-knit relationship between the army and the people; helping all classes of people to have a deeper awareness of the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army through 80 years of building, fighting and growing; helping each individual clearly identify their responsibility and obligation to carry out the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new period.
With elaborately staged and well-rehearsed performances and skits, the cultural exchange received enthusiastic support from officers and soldiers of the armed forces stationed in the area and local people.
On this occasion, the Youth Theater and Hanoi Friends presented the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard with 10 laptops for work.
