On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2025), the delegation of the Border Guard Station for Entry and Exit of Fangcheng (Guangxi, China) led by the First-class Police Chief, Long Trach Luong, Deputy Station Chief, came to congratulate and hold talks with the Border Guard Station at Van Gia Port, Quang Ninh Border Guard (Vietnam). In recent times, the Van Gia Port Border Guard Station and the Phong Thanh Immigration and Exit Border Control Station have closely coordinated, strengthened cooperation, together maintained and effectively implemented legal documents on border management and agreements signed by the two countries' senior leaders; satisfactorily resolved situations and incidents occurring at the sea border and border gates; strengthened coordination in the fight against and prevention of all types of crimes, especially drug crimes, smuggling, human trafficking, illegal entry and exit across borders and sea areas; promoted the development of friendly neighborly relations and economic trade in border areas.
At the talks, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen friendly exchanges between the Stations and Stations, closely coordinate in managing port gates and maritime borders; maintain regular talks, hotlines, and exchange letters; strengthen the fight against all types of crimes, maintain security and order at border gates and maritime borders; and facilitate customs clearance at border gates to serve the economic development of the two localities.
