Attending the event were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; also attending were leaders of the People's Committees of districts and towns where the project passes through: Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

The 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu transmission line project and the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project have been approved by the Prime Minister in principle for investment and at the same time approved the investor in Decision No. 1507/QD-TTg dated December 1, 2023 and Decision No. 1508/QD-TTg dated December 1, 2023, in which the project implementation progress requires striving to be completed in June 2024.
Identifying these as extremely important and urgent projects, in recent times, Nghe An province has regularly directed departments, localities, and units to focus on completing some basic contents to implement the project. Up to now, the 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu line has paid for the handover of 53/168 locations; the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa line has paid for the handover of 11/34 locations.
However, the implementation process is facing some difficulties and problems with procedures for changing forest use purposes, compensation support, site clearance, boundary coordinates of pillar foundation locations, temporary roads, etc.
To ensure the urgent progress of completing the project's energization in June 2024 as directed, at the meeting, the National Power Transmission Corporation requested the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct local departments and branches to support and coordinate in maintaining the route direction of locations in some sections of the route; adjust the boundary of the rock and soil mining area to ensure the project's progress requirements, promptly consider and approve the policy of changing the purpose of forest use, and resolve problems with temporary roads serving the construction of foundation locations through the forest to ensure construction progress.
The Provincial People's Committee directed relevant departments and localities to coordinate with local People's Committees to review and resolve overlapping and disputes over forest land management rights between households and forest management boards, as a basis for localities to confirm the origin of land use, and develop compensation and support plans according to regulations.

After listening to the opinions of investors, consultants, contractors, localities and related departments, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed that these are extremely important projects, Nghe An province regularly directs departments, localities and units to focus on implementing the projects.
To speed up the project implementation, the provincial leaders requested the investor to allocate sufficient funds and agree on a policy framework for the district land clearance councils to implement in accordance with regulations. They directed the consulting unit to review and specifically assess the affected forest area that needs to be changed for use for consideration and handling; and carefully survey the land mine to ensure safety during construction.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed departments, branches and localities to regularly coordinate closely with relevant units in the process of project implementation.
