Youth's mark on the journey of homeland development

With a rather thin force, the whole province only had about 6,000 union members, young people at the time of re-establishment of the province was a big challenge for the union officials at that time. But the youth leaders realized that they were "owning" a young force full of dynamism and courage. If they knew how to arouse the spirit of volunteerism and unite enthusiastic hearts towards community activities, the obstacles in human resources would no longer be a "difficult problem" for the union chapters. And the spirit of volunteerism of young people, aroused at the right time, was the greatest strength for the Ninh Thuan youth movement to overcome the difficulties in the new separation period. A series of projects bearing the "brand" of youth have been widely deployed, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in each individual, in each unit. On every road, in every field, there is the "fire" of the volunteer youth force. In places where the footprints of young volunteers remain, there are not only roads, houses for the poor, charity classes for children, but also faith and joy in the connection of youth with people everywhere. Behind those projects and works named after youth are also the experiences, dedication and maturity of each young person who is joining hands to build an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.

Over the past 33 years since the province was re-established, the Ninh Thuan youth movement has gradually grown stronger. The volunteer movements have not only been effectively maintained by the Youth Union at all levels, but have also increasingly demonstrated their methodical and professional activities. After 33 years, the youth force has always been the pioneers on volunteer fronts: Traffic safety, environmental protection, gratitude, social security, new rural construction, urban civilization... Every year, hundreds of youth projects are completed during the Summer Volunteer Season, Youth Month... contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

In Youth Month 2025 alone, the Youth Union at all levels carried out 280 youth projects and tasks; mobilized contributions to the fund to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses of nearly 667 million VND, supported funds and working days to build 2 new houses and repair 24 charity houses; planted nearly 4,000 trees and flowers; donated 120 breeding chickens, 3 "Livelihood Garden" models with 300 jackfruit trees and supported loans of 300 million VND to help young people in difficult circumstances have conditions to start a business; presented 750 gifts, scholarships, savings books and 15 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties; presented over 1,000 gifts, provided free medical examinations and medicine to 700 poor people and policy beneficiaries; 100% of communes, wards and towns in the area implemented the model of "Digital Transformation Youth Residential Area"; organized 290 "Digital Literacy" activities to popularize digital skills for nearly 14,800 people... These are impressive, vivid numbers demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism, enthusiasm and dedication of the province's youth.

With the spirit of dedication and the desire to rise up, today's youth are still striving to study, work, and create to improve themselves and live a useful life for the community, worthy of the expectations of the Party Committee, the government and the trust of the people.
