On the afternoon of November 29, according to information from the Department of Education and Training of Duy Xuyen district (Quang Nam), Le Quy Don Secondary School has decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Ms. TTE, the homeroom teacher of class 6/2, after the incident in which she beat a student in the class, causing both legs to be bruised.
Previously on November 13, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online , a relative of a male student named A., class 6/2 of the school, posted a status on Facebook with a picture of the student's legs with many bruises with the content: "Does everyone think it's okay for the homeroom teacher to beat the student like that?".
According to the male student's relatives, he was beaten by his homeroom teacher with a ruler after physical education class.
Before that, during physical education class, this male student had a conflict with another 6th grade student.
A male student named A. broke a stick while playing and hit his friend, leaving a mark on his back.
After the incident, Ms. E. used a ruler to hit the soft tissue of the male student, causing bruises on both legs. The school then temporarily suspended the teacher. The school leaders also worked with the student's family and asked the teacher to take the student to the hospital for examination.
According to information from the District Department of Education and Training, after the incident, Ms. E. wrote a self-criticism accepting the disciplinary action of reprimand.
However, the school's disciplinary board of 5 people analyzed many aspects and mistakes of this teacher, so they all unanimously voted to give her a warning as a disciplinary measure.
