Build a political report that "clearly lists the work done and will be done"

On the afternoon of April 2, the Provincial Party Congress Document Subcommittee held its fourth meeting to provide comments on the Draft Political Report. Comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Document Subcommittee; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Based on the guidance of the Document Subcommittee and the conclusion of the Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Document Subcommittee at the working session with the Editorial Team, the Support Team, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - the Standing Office of the Document Subcommittee, has developed and completed the Draft Political Report (third time).

The content of the Draft Political Report closely followed the requirements of the Document Subcommittee and the Draft Political Report submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, edited in a concise manner, ensuring both comprehensiveness and high generality.

At the fourth meeting, there were 11 comments contributing many thoughtful contents, especially emphasizing major, key issues that need to be considered and included in the document.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Head of the Document Subcommittee highly appreciated the responsible and dedicated comments of the members of the Provincial Party Congress Document Subcommittee and suggested that the Editorial Team accept and select them to include in the Draft Political Report.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the members of the subcommittee, with their enthusiasm, intelligence, and affection for their homeland and the development of Quang Nam, to continue researching and contributing to the draft. The content of the comments must be concise, clearly indicating the tasks that need to be done and the attention that needs to be paid to each area of ​​responsibility.

The editorial team is requested to continue updating information data until March 31 to supplement the draft. Try to absorb and edit the draft to be concise, succinct, general, and have a tight writing style. The document must be clearer about good and effective practices that need to be replicated, point out basic limitations and shortcomings, and at the same time identify and clarify the key tasks, key points, and upcoming breakthroughs.

Regarding the contents that need to be included in the document, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested paying attention to the development motivation and potential advantages of Quang Nam; which projects and works are on the list of projects that need investment attention; which difficulties and areas need to focus resources...

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that the policy is to merge the provinces before August 30 and that in the near future, documents of the new administrative unit will have to be developed after Quang Nam and Da Nang merge. However, the new documents will have to be developed on the basis of inheriting the documents of the old administrative unit. The new documents may change the goals and targets, but the specific contents and solutions for socio-economic development and building the political system in Quang Nam province must be inherited.

In that spirit, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the Document Subcommittee should focus on editing the Draft Political Report in a clear direction of what has been done and will be done; most importantly, it must list which parts need to be incorporated into the new documents of the new administrative unit.

"What programs, plans, projects, and policies must be implemented, absorbed, and maintained; what weak links need investment resources; what potentials must continue to be invested in when establishing new administrative units? The new documents must have the form of their own documents so that no planning or development requirements are missed" - the Provincial Party Secretary noted.
