Propaganda and ideological orientation for cadres and party members on the merger policy

Along with that, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also worked on propaganda work, orienting the ideology of cadres and party members towards the merger policy and some contents related to the socio-economic development of the locality.

An Khe town has 11 administrative units including: 6 wards, 5 communes with 60 villages, hamlets and residential groups. An Khe town Party Committee currently has 43 grassroots Party organizations with 2,814 party members. Implementing the project of rearranging and organizing the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee, the Town Party Committee has established the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Town Party Committee on the basis of merging the Town Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Town Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.

Regarding the organizational structure of specialized agencies under the Town People's Committee, the Town People's Council held a meeting to consider and decide to establish 4 departments on the basis of receiving some functions and tasks of related departments. After the arrangement, specialized agencies under the Town People's Committee have 9 departments (reduced by 2 departments). The Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee directed the Town People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with agencies, units, and localities to develop a detailed project to arrange commune-level administrative units.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of An Khe Town Party Committee reported on a number of issues related to the Tu Thuy Martyrs Memorial Project, the operation situation at An Khe Industrial Cluster, and proposed an investment policy for the project to build a dam system to raise water on the Ba River through An Khe town.

Along with that, the locality also proposed that the province support compensation and site clearance costs to invest in the An Khe Industrial Cluster project, and at the same time proposed to stop or not stop construction projects and works to start new construction, repair, and upgrade the headquarters of administrative agencies and units at district and commune levels in the area.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Rah Lan Chung emphasized: An Khe is one of three localities that completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses early. However, the locality also needs to inspect, review and evaluate the quality of the works.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared the thoughts and feelings of the town's cadres and civil servants regarding the policy of restructuring the political system. However, cadres and civil servants should not be confused, wavering and neglect their work. The Standing Committee of the An Khe Town Party Committee needs to thoroughly grasp and encourage the spirit of the cadres and civil servants to agree with the general policy.

Regarding the locality's proposal, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to pay attention to resolving it, and at the same time requested the locality to continue reviewing and evaluating projects from public and non-budgetary investment sources; survey, review, and update mineral mines for common materials to serve the construction of the Quy Nhon-Pleiku Expressway Project; orientate to expand and upgrade some key routes to anticipate development after implementing the policy of merging the province.

Previously, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had presented the decision approving the adjustment of the investment policy, and approved the investor of the project to expand the capacity of An Khe Sugar Factory to 25,000 tons of sugarcane/day; came to burn incense to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed in the battle of Tu Thuy Fort in 1947 and inspected the progress of the project to preserve and embellish the Tu Thuy Martyrs Memorial Site, Tu An commune.
