Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee deploys tasks for 2025

On January 2, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee (TQN) held a conference to review the work in 2024; disseminate and implement the Resolution on directions and tasks in 2025. Attending the conference were comrades: Ngo Hoang Ngan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group; Nguyen Manh Tuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the TQN Party Committee.

In 2024, the TQN Party Committee closely followed the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, closely coordinated with the TKV Party Committee to lead, direct and organize the implementation, basically completing the goals and tasks of the Resolution on directions and tasks for 2024. In particular, the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system continued to be focused on and strengthened; Party committees at all levels improved the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; the work of inspection, supervision, and anti-corruption and negativity continued to be directed resolutely. In 2024, the TQN Party Committee completed 1,164 thematic inspections and supervisions.

The TQN Party Committee coordinated with the TKV Party Committee to lead and direct units to perform well the political tasks and deploy the production and business coordination plan in 2024. TKV produced more than 37.2 million tons of coal, and consumed 46.8 million tons of coal. The above results have contributed to the socio-economic development of the province; in which TKV paid to the state budget in Quang Ninh an estimated more than 17,600 billion VND, equal to 111% of the annual plan.

In 2025, the TQN Party Committee sets the common goal of safety - solidarity - development - efficiency. In particular, strengthening the building and rectification of the Party, the political system is clean, strong, comprehensive; striving to admit new Party members from 3.5-4% compared to the number of Party members at the beginning of the year. At the same time, coordinating with the TKV Party Committee to lead the units to stabilize production and business, striving to exceed the 2025 target of producing more than 38 million tons, and consuming 50 million tons of the whole Group.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ngo Hoang Ngan emphasized: In 2025, the Party Committee of TQN and the Party Committee of TKV will continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; innovate methods, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party. In which, focus on preparing and successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels and the 6th Congress of TQN Party Committee. At the same time, strive to comprehensively complete production and business targets, contributing to the reasonable and sustainable development of the province's mining industry; synchronously implement labor safety, and promote restructuring.

On this occasion, the Party Executive Committee of TQN commended the collectives that excellently completed their tasks in 2024.

He suggested that the Party Committee of TQN closely coordinate with the locality to remove and resolve difficulties, ensure security and order, and mine boundaries; continue to pay attention to housing and transportation issues for workers; improve working conditions, health and take care of Lunar New Year for workers.
