With the spirit of "Solidarity - Responsibility - Efficiency - Accelerating transformation", the Party Committee of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Bac Lieu Branch (BIDV Bac Lieu) has just successfully organized the 8th Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The 8th BIDV Bac Lieu Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 is an important political event for the unit's activities, aiming to lead the entire Party Committee, cadres, party members, and employees of the Branch to thoroughly grasp and concretize the development goals and strategies of the Branch and the entire BIDV system for the period 2025 - 2030. Thereby, actively contributing with the entire system to implement the goals of the BIDV Party Committee towards building BIDV into a leading "Big - Strong - Green" bank in Southeast Asia and in the top 100 in Asia.

During the past term, the BIDV Bac Lieu Party Committee has promoted the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and solidarity to build an increasingly clean and strong Party Committee and compete to excellently complete assigned tasks. Thereby, the BIDV Bac Lieu Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the implementation of political tasks in the direction of expanding the scale along with strict control and improving the quality and efficiency of operations. In particular, it has paid attention to leading and implementing well the work of political and ideological education associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh with practical topics and contents for the unit's activities. At the same time, the Party Committee has constantly focused on building and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; fostering and improving the level of political theory and professional skills for cadres and party members to create conditions for each cadre and party member to successfully complete their tasks; every year, the Party Committee is classified as having completed its tasks well; Political and social organizations operate effectively, working together to build BIDV Bac Lieu to develop more and more.

Looking back at the implementation of the Resolution targets of the Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term, it shows the efforts and determination of the entire BIDV Bac Lieu Party Committee. Specifically: 100% of Party members study and thoroughly grasp the Party's resolutions, the rate of Party members classified as having completed their tasks well or better is over 94%; 100% of Party members maintain good relationships with the locality and fulfill their civic duties well; 10 Party members were admitted, exceeding the target of 4 Party members; The Party Committee and its affiliated Party cells are classified as having completed their annual tasks well; The grassroots Trade Union and Youth Union are classified as strong or better, with many years of excellence...

Most notably, BIDV Bac Lieu is assessed by Party committees, authorities, business communities and investors as a dynamic bank with many positive contributions to the local socio-economic development, associated with constantly affirming its brand. By the end of 2024, BIDV Bac Lieu's outstanding credit balance was more than VND 5,490 billion and its market share ranked second in the province (in which, outstanding retail credit balance at the end of 2024 increased 2.4 times compared to 2020). BIDV Bac Lieu has focused on innovation, improving management capacity and developing high-quality human resources through innovation, improving management capacity in a modern direction, training a team of cadres with qualities and capacity to meet tasks in the new situation. Comply with BIDV's organizational model in each period, rearrange the operating model at the Branch in a streamlined, effective and efficient direction, in line with BIDV's general modern banking business model.

Along with good business, the most noteworthy and commendable thing is that BIDV Bac Lieu Party Committee has promoted the spirit of mutual love and affection and created a spread throughout the Party Committee through good implementation of social security work. Accordingly, many social security programs have been implemented with diverse forms, with a total budget of more than 11.6 billion VND, which have been highly appreciated by the people and the locality.

Inheriting and promoting the achieved results in line with the motto set by BIDV Party Committee for the period 2025 - 2030, which is "Solidarity - Responsibility - Efficiency - Accelerating transformation", BIDV Bac Lieu Party Committee will continue to compete to build a clean and strong grassroots Party Committee and affiliated Party cells, affirming the comprehensive leadership role and political core of the Party; ensuring good and sustainable business development over the years, developing into a Grade 1 Branch in the coming term; increasing income for employees, striving to make each year higher than the previous year; creating motivation, cohesion and striving spirit among all staff.

Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party organization, carry out well the work of political and ideological education, disseminate the Party's resolutions and directives, concretize the programs and action plans to implement the Resolution of the BIDV Bac Lieu Party Congress and the Resolution of the BIDV Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Continue to implement the Resolution of the 12th Central Committee, Session 4, on "strengthening Party building and rectification" associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh, the Party's regulations on the responsibility of setting an example, and what Party members are not allowed to do. Leaders should do well in improving the quality of activities to ensure content and form, and promote the Party's comprehensive leadership role. Continue to innovate the Party's leadership methods; lead the work of inspection, supervision, Party discipline and activities of grassroots trade unions, youth unions, etc.

At the same time, focus on leading the successful completion of the annual business plan targets for the period 2025 - 2030. Based on the assigned targets each year, the Party Committee issues a leadership resolution to develop a specific plan, organize timely and synchronous implementation, and ensure that the Branch's operations comply with the laws of the State and BIDV's regulations. Focus on increasing efficiency, resolutely handling bad debts and controlling credit quality in accordance with BIDV's orientation goals for each period. Develop business solutions suitable for each target customer segment. Train personnel, arrange the organizational structure according to BIDV's instructions. Especially choose the breakthrough point of improving competitiveness by focusing on improving the quality of party members and workers in the entire Party Committee to meet development requirements in the coming period; arrange, train staff, update knowledge, new processes, build a skilled human resource with innovative thinking, breakthrough, dare to think and dare to do, possess all qualities and imbued with BIDV cultural values and live and work with the highest honor and responsibility all for a BIDV "Big - Strong - Green".
