In recent years, the work of protecting and caring for children in Dak Lak province has received the participation of the whole society, so there have been many remarkable results. Currently, the whole province has 507,911 children, accounting for 26.7% of the population (including 180,000 children under 6 years old); 4,875 children in special circumstances (accounting for 0.95% of the total number of children). 100% of children eligible for social allowances (according to Decree 20/2021/ND-CP) have established, completed their records and are fully guaranteed the regime. From the beginning of 2023, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing the work of children.
