Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ha and Simacai districts, term 2024 - 2029

* In Bac Ha district , the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ha district solemnly held the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district, term 2024 - 2029.

Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Duy Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Standing Committee of the District People's Council, and People's Committee; former leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front, retired leaders of the District Fatherland Front in the area; leaders of agencies, units, departments, branches, and organizations in the district; Fatherland Front of communes and towns in the area, and 186 official delegates representing the great solidarity bloc of the people in the district.

Over the past 5 years, with the role of "bridge" between the Party's will and the people's heart, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Ha district has thoroughly grasped the Party's viewpoints and the State's laws on the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period, focusing on innovating the content and methods of operation; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, contributing to creating high consensus in society, truly being a bridge for the close relationship between the Party, the State and the People.

Propaganda, mobilization and gathering of people from all walks of life are focused on. The Fatherland Front and its member organizations from the district to the grassroots level have mobilized people to promote emulation movements and campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "All people participate in protecting national security"...

During the term, the work of caring for and helping the poor continued to receive attention. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district mobilized resources to support the "Fund for the Poor" and guided and connected businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to directly help the poor. In the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels has received funding to support the fund for the poor with an amount of 2 billion 620 million VND, supporting 147 poor households to build "Great Unity" houses...

In addition, the work of supervision, social criticism, giving opinions on Party building, government building, preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity has been closely implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the district to the grassroots level; the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens has been given attention; the work of organizing the apparatus, staff and civil servants working for the Front at all levels, and the Front Work Committee of residential areas in the district has been consolidated and improved.

With the above results, in the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district has completed and exceeded 10/10 targets set by the congress.

At the congress, many delegates also seriously reviewed and frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the coordination between the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and the People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in meeting voters. At the same time, they emphasized the role of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

The Congress elected 55 comrades to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ha district, term XI, 2024 - 2029. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ha district, term XI, elected Mr. Vang Van Ngan to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, term XI, 2024 - 2029.

* In Simacai district , the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district successfully organized the 16th Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2029.

Attending the congress were comrade Ha Duc Minh, Secretary of the Si Ma Cai District Party Committee; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province; delegates representing the great solidarity bloc of the people in the district.

During the 2019 - 2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Simacai district has innovated the content and methods, improved the quality of activities of the Front system from the district to the grassroots level and the Front Working Committee of residential areas; proactively participated in Party and State building; promoted democracy, contributing to creating social consensus to build and protect the Fatherland...

Promoting the tradition of mutual love and support, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Simacai district has actively mobilized cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people of all ethnic groups in the district to support the Fund for the Poor... At the same time, the fund has been managed and used effectively and in accordance with regulations. The District Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee has received and allocated more than 7 billion VND to support the construction of 277 "Great Unity" houses, of which 223 houses were newly built and 54 houses were repaired...

The Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the district supervised 44 meetings; organized 24 conferences to directly dialogue with the people...

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Front from the district to the grassroots level will continue to promote propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life; consolidate and enhance people's trust in the Party and State; strengthen social consensus to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, arouse the aspiration to develop the homeland and the country.

With the spirit of democracy and solidarity, the congress consulted to elect 50 delegates to join the 16th District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and sent a delegation to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at a higher level, including 17 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

The first conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Simacai district, term XVI, elected the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district for the 2024 - 2029 term, consisting of 3 comrades.
