Receiving support for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the Province in 2025

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the morning of March 31, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a ceremony to receive support for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the province in 2025, presented by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and the Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Quang Binh Branch (MSB). Comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of the province attended. Attending the reception were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.

On the sponsor side, there were Mr. Hoang Viet Hung, Deputy General Director of BIDV Bank; Mr. Phan Thanh Binh, Director of BIDV Bank, Quang Binh branch and Ms. Tran Thi Hong Duyen, Deputy Director in charge of MSB Bank, Quang Binh branch.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanks, acknowledges and highly appreciates the support of BIDV and MSB Banks in the effort to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

At the reception, BIDV Bank donated 30 billion VND to Quang Binh province and MSB Bank Quang Binh Branch donated 10 billion VND to support the cost of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the province. In addition, BIDV Bank Quang Binh Branch also donated 3 billion VND to the Provincial Fund for the Poor to accompany the province in implementing social security work.

Speaking at the reception, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sincerely thanked, acknowledged and highly appreciated the support of BIDV and MSB Banks in the effort to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. He also emphasized that Quang Binh province is determined to implement the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; in addition to the budget, the contributions of organizations, individuals and enterprises are valuable resources to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, helping people stabilize their lives and ensure social security; at the same time, he expected that the province and the two units will continue to accompany and share in many other meaningful activities in the coming time.

MSB Bank Quang Binh Branch donated 10 billion VND

BIDV Bank, Quang Binh Branch also supported the Provincial Fund for the Poor with 3 billion VND to accompany the province in implementing social security work.
