According to the Travel Trends Report released by online travel platform Skyscanner, Indian tourists are showing great interest in short-distance destinations with beaches to enjoy the sun and relax. Famous for its beautiful beaches, Da Nang tops the search list of Indian tourists, followed by Krabi (Thailand) and Mahe Island (Seychelles).

In addition, the three factors that have the greatest influence on Indian tourists’ choice of holiday destination in 2024 are cuisine (71%), weather (65%) and cultural experiences of the destination (65%). Of these, shopping (49%), historical sightseeing (45%) and tasting local food (38%) are the three most interested cultural experiences.
In turn, the top 5 destinations on the list are Almaty (Kazakhstan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Osaka (Japan) and the capital Hanoi (Vietnam) ranked 5th with an increase of 396%.
