Da Nang reserves nearly 2,580 billion VND worth of goods to serve the 2024 Tet market

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang, businesses have prepared reserve goods to serve people's shopping needs during the holidays, but the amount has not increased much compared to 2023.

The total value of food reserves for the 2024 Tet market is expected to be about 2,580 billion VND.

Of which, key enterprises supplying livestock meat, poultry, food, trade centers, and supermarkets have a reserve value of nearly 1,015 billion VND.

Traders doing business at Con market, Han market, Dong Da market, Hoa Cuong wholesale market and other markets in the city participated in the reserve with an estimated value of about 750 billion VND.

Grocery stores in residential areas and specialized streets participate in reserves with an estimated value of over 815 billion VND.

At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade will organize trade promotion programs, advertise, introduce products, promote and stimulate shopping.

Including "Cashless payment fair combined with launching Online Friday online shopping day", "Promotional month to stimulate shopping in Da Nang city, phase 2, 2023", "Program to promote OCOP products, typical products - Da Nang 2023", Da Nang City Spring Fair 2024 with a scale of about 250 booths.
