After relocating three degraded apartment buildings, Da Nang City will call for investment in building social housing projects at land plot No. 10 Trinh Cong Son and Hoa Minh apartment building.
Chairman of Da Nang City, Mr. Le Trung Chinh has just signed and issued a Plan to relocate, clear and rebuild 3 degraded apartment buildings in the city.
The three apartment complexes that need to be relocated and cleared include the Lam Dac San Hoa Cuong apartment complex, the Thuan Phuoc apartment complex (both in Hai Chau district) and the Hoa Minh apartment complex (Hoa Minh ward, Lien Chieu district).
These three apartment complexes have 18 blocks, 648 apartments and 621 households, and have been in use since 2001.
In 2021, the City Housing Management and Exploitation Center organized a construction quality inspection. Accordingly, all blocks of 3 apartment buildings were at level C danger level.
Therefore, continuing to renovate and repair the above 3 apartment buildings will not ensure long-term efficiency.

Regarding the planning location of apartment buildings to relocate households, Da Nang City has agreed on the location to build an apartment building to replace Thuan Phuoc and Lam Dac San Hoa Cuong apartment buildings at land plot No. 10 - Trinh Cong Son (Hoa Cuong Nam ward, Hai Chau district), with an area of 5,685m2. At the same time, it has agreed on the location to build an apartment building to replace Hoa Minh apartment building at the old land plot with an area of 8,154m2.
According to the Plan of Da Nang City, the time to carry out procedures, implement relocation and clearance of apartment buildings is from now until the end of 2025. Da Nang City will demolish the apartment buildings after relocating all households. The source of funding for relocation and clearance is from the budget.
According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the land at Lam Dac San Hoa Cuong apartment building after relocation will be used to build a park, community center, and parking lot after clearance. Similarly, the land at Thuan Phuoc apartment building will be used to build a park and parking lot.

Da Nang City assigned the Department of Construction to urge the implementation of relocation and clearance according to the Plan. Work with investors of social housing projects from non-state budget sources to be given priority for social housing funds for sale and rent to households in the above apartment buildings.
In addition, the Department of Planning and Investment appraised the documents approving the investment policy of the social housing project at land plot No. 10 Trinh Cong Son and the land plot of Hoa Minh apartment complex.
