Asian Robocon Competition

The ABU Robocon 2024 is a playground for students who are passionate about robots from countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region. This is not only a technical competition, but also a testament to the development of science and technology and the creativity of the young generation, of technology-loving students in the Asia-Pacific region.

ABU Robocon 2024 has the participation of 13 teams from 12 countries and territories. Of which, Vietnam has 2 representative teams: SKH AUTOMATION and SKH – CK1 from Hung Yen University of Technical Education.

The theme of this year’s competition is “Harvest Day” to honor the value of agriculture, especially rice cultivation on terraced fields – a characteristic of Vietnamese culture.

Participating robots will have to perform tasks simulating the rice growing process, from sowing to harvesting. The competition promises to bring dramatic and creative matches.

The Asia-Pacific Robocon Competition (ABU Robocon) 2024 will take place at Quang Ninh Sports Complex (Dai Yen Ward, Ha Long City) from August 23-27.

Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will also organize many attractive sideline activities such as: Exchange and sharing of knowledge on programming control, robot construction and tours of Ha Long Bay heritage... for the teams participating in the competition.

Hosting ABU Robocon 2024 is an opportunity for Vietnam to introduce the country's image to international friends. At the same time, it affirms Vietnam's position in the field of technology.
