Contest "Family reading books - Developing family bookcases connecting love" in Yen Bai province in 2025

Summary and award ceremony expected on May 28, 2025

The target audience is family members (multiple generations in the family are encouraged to participate)

Format: Create a video clip, the duration of the contest program is 10 minutes; can use effects and techniques to ensure image and sound quality; has a minimum resolution of 640px x 480px; is saved in a popular format and suitable for posting on Youtube.

The exam consists of 3 parts through video clips.

* Part 1: Greeting (2 minutes)

Introduce each family member and typical reading activities in the family. (You can choose one of the art forms such as: Poetry, folk songs, etc.)

* Part 2: Introduction to family bookshelf (4 minutes)

- Take pictures of the family bookshelf and reading activities of family members.

- Presentation on building a Family Bookshelf to spread and develop reading culture and connect generations in the family.

* Part 3: Book promotion (4 minutes)

Introduce 01 work in the family bookshelf that left the deepest impression.

Organizing Competitions at all levels

District level

- Launch and organize the Competition at the facility

- Select 03 to 05 quality video clips to participate in the Provincial Contest.

- Time to complete the District Competition before April 30, 2025.

- Time to submit video clips for provincial contest: From May 1, 2025 to May 10, 2025. Address to receive video clips: Yen Bai Provincial Library - Group 14, Dong Tam Ward, Yen Bai City (via the Professional Department) in 2 forms: Submit directly or send by post via USB, and send the contest file via email address: phongnsvh.svh@yenbai.gov.vn;

Provincial level

- From May 1, 2025 to May 10, 2025: Receive video clips from districts, towns, and cities.

- From May 15, 2025 to May 25, 2025: Organize the scoring of video clips for provincial competitions in districts, towns, and cities.

- Expected date: May 28, 2025: Summary and award ceremony.

The Organizing Committee of the 2025 "Family Reading - Developing a Family Bookshelf Connecting Love" Contest awarded Certificates and prizes to the winning families at the Contest, including: 01 First Prize; 02 Second Prizes; 03 Third Prizes and Encouragement Prizes.

Through the Contest, we aim to honor the good cultural values ​​of Vietnamese families, thereby creating positive changes in awareness and actions about families to contribute to building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family; towards Vietnamese Family Day (June 28). At the same time, we honor individuals and families with a tradition of studiousness and passion for reading, spreading and developing a reading culture in each family and community, thereby affirming the importance and value of books in building a happy family.

Introduce the model of "Family Bookcase"; encourage participation in building "Family Bookcase" and "Clan Bookcase" to sustainably maintain reading habits, arouse the spirit of love for reading, respect knowledge, stimulate the spirit of self-reading and self-study in each family.
