Tay Ninh province identifies tourism as one of the breakthrough industries for socio-economic development, strongly promoting the development of other industries and fields.
To do this, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has developed a tourism development plan until 2025 and orientation to 2030. In particular, it emphasizes the requirement to effectively exploit existing potential and advantages, focus on developing tourism products, building a unique tourism brand, and turning Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area into a classy tourist area of the region and the whole country.
This province aims to make tourism a key economic sector by 2030, contributing over 10% of GRDP, strongly promoting the development of other sectors and fields. The average annual growth rate of tourism revenue is 25% or more, the average spending of tourists to Tay Ninh is over 1.3 million VND/person/day. Tourism revenue in the 2026-2030 period will reach 35,000 billion VND; travel service revenue in the 2026-2030 period will reach 235 billion VND; and the number of tourists in the 2026-2030 period will reach 37 million.
Along with that, it solves about 21,000 laborers working in tourism-related jobs, of which about 7,000 are direct laborers and about 14,000 are indirect laborers of society.
Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee has been focusing on attracting investment in tourism development by reviewing and simplifying administrative procedures on business registration in a simple manner, creating conditions for business registration; improving the investment environment, creating conditions for businesses with the most preferential policies in tourism development investment.
Spiritual tourism in Tay Ninh attracts tourists
Regarding the development of infrastructure and technical facilities for tourism, Tay Ninh is currently coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City to complete procedures to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway project, while continuing to focus on preparing procedures to invite investment in phase 1 of the Go Dau - Xa Mat expressway.
In addition, Tay Ninh is also implementing investment in the N8-787- connecting road; completing and putting into operation DT 782 - DT 784 road, Dat Set - Ben Cui road... focusing on investment in connecting Tay Ninh with Binh Duong, Tay Ninh with Long An. At the same time, coordinating with the Southeast Regional Coordination Council and coordinating with localities in the region to specify programs as well as key traffic connection projects, effectively resolving "bottlenecks" for Tay Ninh to develop further...
