Union proposes timely rewards for workers

Reporting to the Working Group, the leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor said that in recent years, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have always paid attention to emulation and reward work. The Trade Unions always focus on the grassroots level, giving rewards to encourage union members and workers to promote creativity, dare to think, dare to do, and overcome difficulties. The Trade Unions at all levels must carry out emulation and reward in a timely, public, and transparent manner, focusing on direct workers, replicating typical examples and praising new factors. In addition, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor has launched and improved the effectiveness of the movement "Good workers, creative workers". The business sector is associated with the movement "Higher productivity, better quality".

From 2023 to present, Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded 6 Emulation Flags, 346 Certificates of Merit to 87 collectives and 259 individuals. The unit proposed and was awarded 2 Emulation Flags, 38 Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives and 20 individuals by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor also proposed and was awarded 1 Emulation Flag and 29 Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and 15 individuals by the Provincial People's Committee, ministries, branches, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. In 2024, Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor organized the first commendation ceremony for 78 outstanding grassroots Trade Union Chairmen in the province, period 2018-2023.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong affirmed that the topic of Emulation and Reward supervision is to promptly consolidate the organization, staff, and gradually meet the requirements of the task. Thereby, the General Confederation of Labor grasps the situation, the basis for proposing rewards and answering recommendations on reward regimes and policies of the Trade Union organization.
