According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), on the afternoon of November 18, head coach Kim Sang Sik announced the list of 30 players called up to the Vietnam national team, preparing for the Southeast Asian Championship - ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024. This squad list shows coach Kim Sang Sik's careful consideration to build a strong team, both inheriting experience and promoting new factors.

Basically, most of the selected faces have participated in the national team's training sessions under the guidance of coach Kim Sang Sik from June 2024 until now. The most regrettable absence is probably that of central defender Que Ngoc Hai.
