The police asked all employees here to present their personal documents, checked and monitored the itinerary, and vehicle documents of the shuttle vehicles. The drivers present at this location were quickly tested for drugs and alcohol concentration by the police. During the inspection, if signs of law violations or criminal elements are discovered, Ho Chi Minh City Police will handle the case according to regulations.

On the same day, at the regular socio-economic press conference of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Bui Hoa An said that in the afternoon of the same day, the Department announced the conclusion of the inspection of Thanh Buoi Company, which included representatives of the locality and enterprises. Mr. An affirmed that the viewpoint of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Transport is not to cover up or tolerate illegal activities that lead to tragic accidents like the recent one.
In a press release issued the same afternoon, the Department of Transport pointed out a series of violations by Thanh Buoi Company regarding transportation activities and business conditions. Regarding the freight transport contract and the transport document, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport determined that the freight transport contract did not have complete information, the transport document lacked information on loading and unloading goods onto and off the vehicle. The passenger transport and tourism contracts did not ensure the minimum content, and the passenger list attached to the contract did not have full content according to regulations. Thanh Buoi Company organized to pick up and drop off passengers regularly and repeatedly every day at the head office, branches, and representative offices, which is a violation of Articles 7 and 8 of Decree No. 10/2020 of the Government. Some cases of passenger transport business under contract, tourist transport business without a transport contract (for 29-seat vehicles transporting passengers from locations 266 - 272 and 258 Le Hong Phong, Ward 4, District 5).
Not to mention, Thanh Buoi bus company staff signed contracts to transport tourist passengers by car from Lam Dong province to Ho Chi Minh City but were not authorized by the company's legal representative. According to the Department of Transport, the transportation route, time, pick-up and drop-off points of some vehicles did not match the transportation contract and the data of the trip monitoring device on some days in January 2023 and April 2023.

Regarding the handling direction, the Department of Transport said that the Department Inspectorate is carrying out procedures to impose administrative penalties on Thanh Buoi Company, while continuing to verify, clarify, and impose penalties on the drivers' violations. For some acts with signs of violating the law discovered through inspection and not under the authority of the Department of Transport, the case will be transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Police and relevant authorities for consideration and handling.

According to the Lam Dong Department of Transport, the northeastern area of Da Lat City (Ward 9) was not yet developed, so the arrangement of Thanh Buoi Company's bus station (about 4 km from the center of Hoa Binh - Da Lat) was basically suitable. However, the current rapid development speed and dense population have caused traffic congestion. Therefore, according to the decision of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Thanh Buoi Company's bus station is only allowed to operate until June 30, 2023. Although it has expired for more than 3 months, up to now, according to Thanh Nien reporters, this bus station is still bustling with vehicles coming and going.
