After 3 days in a coma, she passed away and the famous singer's sister announced the sad news on social media. Her sister said that Coco Lee had been battling depression for a long time.
"Coco has suffered from depression for many years but her condition has worsened over the past few months. Although Coco has sought professional help and tried her best to fight the depression, sadly the demon inside has defeated her," wrote Coco Lee's sister.
News of Coco Lee's sudden passing came as a huge shock to Asian fans and international media.
