The rising stocks overwhelmed the falling stocks, causing the market to be filled with green and purple. In particular, the real estate and securities stocks “awakened” and returned to wake up the market.

The Vietnamese stock market continued to recover strongly in the trading session of September 20, with most stocks in all industry groups on the market increasing simultaneously. Specifically, after the previous short correction, real estate stocks rebounded strongly, contributing to spreading the increase to the entire market.
Of which, NVL and HDC hit the ceiling; BCM increased by 2.94%, KBC increased by 2.84%, KDH increased by 4.41%, PDR increased by 4.65%, DIG increased by 3.28%, DXG increased by 4.29%, SJS increased by 6.78%, CII increased by 3.44%, ITA increased by 3.54%. In addition, the Vingroup trio also increased strongly with VHM increasing by 2.74%, VIC increasing by 3.48% and VRE increasing by 1.81%...
The group of securities stocks also increased positively with ORS hitting the ceiling, VND increasing by 2.02%, VCI increasing by 4.84%, HCM increasing by 1.88%, FTS increasing by 2.71%, VIX increasing by 5.05%, BSI increasing by 3.57%...
Banking stocks were mixed but also leaned towards green. Some large-cap stocks such as VCB, CTG, SSB and STB decreased slightly by nearly 1-1.2%; while other stocks increased such as BID increased by 1.11%, TCB increased by 1.33%, MBB increased by 1.05%, VIB increased by 1.45%, TPB increased by 2.36%, EIB increased by 2.17%, OCB increased by 3.94%...
Not only the above industries, many other industries such as manufacturing, retail, and energy also increased sharply. In particular, the manufacturing stock group also had GIL and ANV hit the ceiling.
At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 14.61 points (1.21%) to 1,226.11 points with 419 stocks increasing, 91 stocks decreasing and 63 stocks increasing in price. At the end of the session on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, HNX-Index increased by 4.6 points (1.84%) to 254.82 points with 136 stocks increasing, 52 stocks decreasing and 59 stocks remaining unchanged. Liquidity decreased by nearly 3,000 billion VND compared to the previous day, the total transaction value in the whole market was just over 23,100 billion VND, foreign investors net sold nearly 217 billion VND on the HOSE.
