On the afternoon of March 15, at Lao Cai Cinema, the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Indian Film Festival in Lao Cai.
Four famous Indian films will be introduced to the Lao Cai public through the Film Festival, including:
Dangal : A drama about a father's journey to overcome social norms and train his daughters to become world-class wrestlers. For all ages. Showtime: 2:30 p.m. , March 15 (Saturday).
English Vinglish : The film is a touching story about a housewife's journey of self-discovery as she learns English and regains her confidence. The film is for audiences aged 13 and over. Showtime: 2:30 p.m. March 16 (Sunday).
Freedom Roar ( RRR ): A fictional story of two revolutionaries in colonial India, a blend of heroic action, epic, friendship, drama and patriotism. The film is for audiences aged 18 and above. Showtime: 2:30 p.m., March 17 (Monday).
Live Only Once ( Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ): The film tells the story of a group of friends' journey that brings many changes after many years apart, with discoveries about friendship, maturity and how to enjoy life to the fullest. The film is for audiences aged 16 and over. Showtime: 2:30 p.m., March 18 (Tuesday).
