Hanoi implements many activities to build family culture

Hanoi culture stands out with its elegance and civilization. This element is formed and maintained through many generations, first of all in the family. Therefore, in building a cultural life, the role of family culture is extremely important. Based on this reality, the People's Committee of the city has just issued Plan No. 72/KH-UBND on implementing family work in the city in 2025.

The city requires activities to be implemented to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities and people of all walks of life about the role and importance of family work in the new situation. In particular, promoting communication work, combined with cultural, artistic and sports activities, preserving and promoting the traditions and cultural identity of Thang Long-Hanoi; preventing and combating domestic violence; disseminating solutions to implement the system of cultural values, the system of family values ​​and the standards of Vietnamese people in the new period, contributing to building elegant and civilized Hanoians.

The theme of family work in 2025 is "Happy family, prosperous nation" with the following messages: Happy family is the foundation of a happy nation; investing in family work is investing in sustainable development; family values ​​are the foundation for building a national values ​​system; Building the personality of Vietnamese people starts with moral education and family lifestyle...

The city will deploy the following main groups of tasks: Reviewing and guiding grassroots units to implement legal documents on family work and domestic violence prevention; Organizing the implementation of family policies and laws; Equality in the family; Training and fostering knowledge and skills on domestic violence prevention for staff working in family work at grassroots level...

Along with that, the city will carry out activities to build a healthy cultural environment from family to community in association with the Movement "All people build a cultural life"; build and guide the replication of happy family models, sustainable development; organize the commendation of "Typical cultural families", "Filial children", "Typical families of workers and civil servants in the capital".

Hanoi will organize many activities related to events related to family life such as: International Day of Happiness (March 20); Vietnamese Family Day (June 28); National Action Month on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence (June); Implementation of the Code of Conduct in the Family; International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25) ...

On these occasions, the city will honor exemplary cultural families, organize exchanges and discussions on family culture and gender equality to raise community awareness.
