On the afternoon of October 19, information from the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, a teacher at Chuong Duong Primary School - the teacher who mobilized parents to pay for laptops causing a stir - was disciplined with a warning.

Previously, on the morning of September 30, the Principal of Chuong Duong Primary School signed a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3 and head of grade 4, from her civil servant position for 15 days.

The decision clearly stated that the reason for the temporary suspension was "To verify and clarify the complaint, stabilize the situation of parents and students while considering disciplinary action".
