Yesterday afternoon, January 23, the Naval Region 3 Command and a delegation of central and local agencies, organizations and individuals organized an online gift-giving ceremony for the Party Committee, government, army and people of Con Co island district (Quang Tri province). At the ceremony, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Naval Region 3, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien emotionally said that according to the plan, the delegation would go to Con Co Island to visit, encourage and wish a happy New Year to the local Party Committee, government and military and people, but due to unfavorable weather conditions and high waves, after many hours of effort, the delegation could not go to the island. Therefore, through a live television bridge, the delegation delivered gifts of affection from the mainland and the rear to all the military and people of Con Co island district.
